Johnson Media Co. contributed visual effects work to the feature film 12 Mighty Orphans, directed by Ty Roberts. Our primary role was to provide VFX cleanup—removing modern objects and background elements that wouldn’t have existed during the Great Depression era, ensuring each frame stayed true to the film’s historical setting.

In addition to the cleanup work, we also created a visual montage that helped bring to life the football team’s inspiring and heroic season. The montage played a key role in driving the emotional arc of the story forward, blending archival-style visuals with cinematic pacing to honor the team’s journey. It was a rewarding project to be part of, contributing subtle but meaningful visual support to a powerful true story.
